First, as always, I am terribly late with EMails. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your view) I have been very busy. So, this is a long email, but it is filled with mostly good news!1) A Very hearty congratulations goes out to L.J. for winning the Game of January 5, 2006. L.J. is a difficult chap for me to talk about, because he is just so quiet. A big luvable lug, nonetheless and will be a GREAT addition to the Tournament of Champions coming up on January 26, 2006. Who knows, maybe he will make some noise when he plays in the Big Game! L.J. Sent me an email to name the game "Good Karma", which I think is a great name. But, because he forgot to name it before he left, Jeef wrote ( I can tell you hand-writing!) "CRIKEY, THAT IS A CUTE LITTLE STINGRAY" Talk about Bad Karma!!! 2) Maybe it is because no one said, "You're not winning Mark McKibbon" all night long, but sure as hell, Mark won AGAIN!. I think he has 4 seats to the Big Game (and he already gave the others away!). As Darnell, who we have not seen in a while, says "Thats Jest CRAZY!". Congratulations again, Mark - I know you will be a fun player in the TOC, too! But, to save me time, I think I may write a program to generate your "Congrats to Mark" email! Of course, if I did that I do not know how I would have it generate game names like the ones that come from Mark - the name of the game is "Buttermilk Biscuits up Scott's Ass". I have no clue why, but I would not eat dinner at Scott's house!3) And, I got some interesting news from our own Will E. this week and wanted to share that with you as well. "I did want to take a few moments to tell that i will be attending this fridays game and that as you know wil be my last game for almost 5 months!!!" Will is being deployed soon! and he continues " ... and also to see if you could add something about me leaving to your email this week not becuase I'm looking for any favors but i was hoping it would draw in a few people like sean that i havent seen a while." So, that should guilt Sean into showing up as well.4) Will sent me this email about some upcoming tournaments / games in Sandusky, Oh. It is Friday and Saturday, Feb 2 and 3.
