We had dual games here at the BOHICA last night, a lot of fun and a big announcement. So, first things first! THE TOC – Derrick W. Derrick W. won the TOC and it was nicely done. I know it was done nicely because I was 2nd in the thing. I still hate the game, but I hate it a little less and Derrick’s loving it! Derrick’s comments were “10 More Weeks of BOHICA I hope!! Good Game as always.“ The Regular Game – Scott L. Scott L. won the regular game and as it turns out, gets the first seat to the next TOC. His comments were “ “.The Announcement. Sandy and I have decided that it is time to downsize and we are closing the BOHICA Casino. We have had a great run – we started hosting every Friday night games in August of 2004. We have made a ton of great friends that will stay with us forever. We also want to have the last game to be the Tournament of Champions Championship – that game that takes us 2 yrs of TOC winners to get there. Last night we had thought there were 9 unique winners to qualify for the TOC – we realized this morning that there are only 8 – but we were looking for the 10th unique winner. Since Derrick is already qualified for the TOCC, his win meant we were one short. Now, we have the numbers correct and this is how we are going to run. We will be playing every Friday at 7:30 for another 10 weeks, with the 10th week being the next (and last) TOC. If the winner of that TOC is a unique winner to the current list of champions, then we will hold the TOCC with 9 players to start – otherwise we will hold it with 8 players. Barring any craziness, the Last BOHICA TOC will be played on November 16, 2012 and the 3rd and Final BOHICA TOCC will be held on December 14, 2012.
