First of all, Congratulations Al M. on a fine victory on Friday and for winning the last seat to the TOC! This Friday is the Tournament of Champions - for the previous 10 winners - and a regular 20.00 game for the rest of us! If one of the previous 10 winners can not make it, then they can give to their seat to someone (Notifying me, of course) or the seat will be available to the first person with the 75.00 buy-in.I am big beleiver that things work out for a reason - even when they are bad. As some of you know, Sandy and I were on vacation last week - so we were not here - and Al said that I can handle the comments. Well, as things work out, I have some serious comments to add to this email and a special request for all of you.We lost one of our own players last week - Jim Smith aka Old Smitty lost his long battle with cancer and past away last Tuesday ( or Wednesday.) Per his request, no service was held and his wishes were to be cremated. In leiu of flowers, it has been requested to send donations to his better half - Robin. Folks, Smitty had a tough time with his cancer and I am pretty sure the costs of treatments pretty much bankrupted him. I am officially requesting that you bring some extra cash for the pumpkin this week. ALL donations here are going to be sent to Robin - and I intend to match whatever you all donate. I am putting my address at the end of this email - if you can not make it here and want to donate, please feel free to mail a check.Lastly, there is a special deal going on a the Everest Players Club this Saturday. John B. is the owner and is having a cook-out, starting at 4:00 with tournaments and cash-games going on afterward. There will be no club fees for the tournaments or cash games for this event. The club is located in Grove City and you can call John B. at 614-570-9094 or me (614-206-5524) for directions. Sandy and I are planning to attend. As always, you can check the stats and RSVP for Friday at:http://www.TechnoBiz.net/PokerKeep an eye on the stats too - I am going to update the website to show the current year stats and to show the entire history statistics. As always, I hope to see lots of you on Friday and Till then . . .PLAY WELL!!!Tim614-206-5524614-775-9066
