Opps, I mean Sean gets Eights! That is right - Sean B. won the tournament last night. And, from my favorite line in the movie "Maverick", he won with 2 small pair - Eights and Eights! Other than ME not winning, it was a good tournament. We had a few new players - one of whom we almost had to send a rescue team out for. I told him that we would not guide him here every Friday, but maybe I should put up some spot lights. Whaddya Think - maybe a Batman type light casting an image of yours truly in the Sky on Friday nights? Naw - that might attract the wrong type of characters, like Sean!A Hardy Congratulations goes out to Sean and we will see him at the Tournament of Champions!And we bid a very fond fare-well to Nghia N. and David C. as they move from Columbus to Las Vegas. If I am not mistaken, Nghia has attended every one of our games - and we have been playing here for over a year! Both of these guys are terrific players, great gentlemen, and, I for one, am proud to call them friends. From Sandy, I and the entire Friday Night Gang, Good Luck and Best Wishes to you both.
