Well, the gang did a bad thing on Friday - A very bad thing indeed! They left me barely a name of a game and, believe it or not, no Winner or Third place name!!! I know - I could hardly believe it myself!!! So, yours truly did a little sluething!My investigation into the no winner game started in my basement where I took DNA Samples from the coldest - left out beer bottle, and finger-printed all the remaining chips, examined closely the hair folicles left on the table - and decided there was way too many of them folicles running around. (What goes on after I go to bed is going to have to be closely monitored in the future!) After reviewing many of this samples with Grissolm from CSI, I decided to call Jason and ask him!So a hearty congratulations and a slap in the head goes to our new guy - Shaaaayne - for winning a seat to the Tournament of Champions. As I have been informed, it was a 3 way pot chop and they played it out for the Chip. Nice job, Shaaaaayne.( I know that I am probably not spelling his name correctly, but I have nothing else to go on - neither Grissolm or Jason knew how to spell it correctly!!!)And, yes, this Friday, July 4th, 2008 at 7:30, there will be a 20.00 game (with a 5.00 optional bounty chip) - the first 20.00 game in July! This week only - if you are running late - you need to call Jeff Johnson @ xxx-xxxx.
