Now that Shannon S. has got the Big 50.00 Game win under his belt, he is going to Las Vegas to take on the Big Boys (and Girls!). Congratulations Shannon on this fantastic win.Unfortunately, there was not a tournament chip available for the 50.00 game, so Shannon will have to work hard on getting into the next tournament! And this coming Friday, January 6, 2006, is the Tournament of Champions, which is a 75.00 buy-in. And we hope to have a 20.00 game, running simultaneously with the Tournament Game. This is how it will work; The Tournament of Champions is for the people who have won during the prior 10 weeks. If we have an additional 5 people (at least) then we will have a "regular" game as well. If we don't have an additionaly 5 people, anyone with the 75.00 buy-in will be able to play with the Champions. However, the Champions play for the money and a special prize awarded to the TOC Winner. And there is a regular chip available as the first seat to the next Tournament. So, the previous champion winners will be able to win the Tournament Prize, but not the chip to the next tournament. Likewise, the highest finisher who did not win a chip in the previous 10 weeks can not win the tournament prize, but will be given the regular chip as the first seat to the next tournament. Here are a couple of examples;Ex1: On Jan 6, we have 14 players that show up, 10 of the previous champions, and 4 non-champions. All players will pay 75.00 and we will have a tournament of 14 players. The monies will be paid out to the first and second place finishers, regardless of the their previous champion status. The player who finishes highest, of the previous champions, will win the Tournament Price. The player who finishes highest of the Non-Champion winners will win the tournament chip for the first seat to the next Tournament of Champions.Ex2: On Jan 6, we have 19 players that show up, 10 of the previous champions and 9 non-champions. We will run 2 games - the Tournament of Champions with a 75.00 buy-in and a "regular" game with a 20.00 buy-in. The Tourny Prize will go to the Tournament winner and the first seat to the next Tournament of Champions will be given to the winner of the "regular" game. Obviously, under this example, there are 2 separate prize pools being played for.To give us time to set things up, PLEASE RSVP by EMail or by calling me. This week is especially important for us to know all the players ahead of time, so we can decide what / how many games we will be having. As you know, you can check out all the previous winners and RSVP for Friday at:http://www.TechnoBiz.net/PokerWe hope to see lots of you on Friday and till then . . .PLAY WELL!Tim614-206-5524614-775-9066
