The whole night started off fantastic and it just kept getting better all night long. Pops is one of our more "experienced" players and a true treasure to have at our tables. He has a sourthern drawl that might make you think he lives closer to the equator and a quick sense of wit. But, Pops dropped his chips on Friday and one of our own delectible poker ladies (Kristi) stooped to the floor to help pick them up. Pops's quick wit got the best of him and he immediately said, in his best county Ohio accent, "Well, while you are down there ... ".The chips got dropped before the game got started and the story got repeated and replayed all night long amongst all the tables; and culminated in our winner - THE ONE AND ONLY CHRIS H. - naming the game "While you are down there!" A very big Congratulations goes to Chris H. for winning the thing - when I grow up I want to be Chris! Well, on second thought, maybe I want to be Pops!I am sending this out early to remind you all to go VOTE!!! Today is election day, which means we get our TVs back!We will be having another fantastic game at the BOHICA this Friday, November 11, 2011 starting at 7:30 PM.
