This is a little something special we do for our Friday Night Games. Every 10 weeks, we hold a "Tournament of Champions", which is a 75.00 buy-in game. The winners of the previous 10 weeks have an "automatic" seat in that tournament.
If some of the previous 10 week winners can not attend, then anyone who has the 75.00 buy-in can play in this Tournament. In addition to the money payout, the Tournament of Champions winner will also get a "Special Prize", compliments of the house. Here is gotcha #1 - only the top winning player of the previous 10 week winners is eligible for the "Special Prize" and the seat to the TOCC. If you play in the Tournament of Champions, but did not win once during the previous 10 weeks, you can still win the money payout.
There is another gotcha. Simultaneously to the Tournament of Champions game, we will be running a regular tournament. The regular tournament winner gets the first chip to the next 10 week Tournament of Champions.
And the final gotcha. This tournament will have 10 or 11 players. If Tim or Sandy (The House Owners) do not win in the previous 10 weeks, then the house will be given
the option to a seat and Tim OR Sandy will play. It the house exercize
that option, then that will make 11 at the tournament. If EITHER Tim or Sandy win once in the previous 10 weeks, then there will be no house seat. In this event, there will be only 10 players at the Tournament of Champions.

Once we have 10 unique eligible and available winners of
the 10 week Tournament of Champions, we have the Tournament of Champions
Championship. This is the biggest deal at the BOHICA, as it take 2+ years
to get this number of players.
Qualifying
In order to play in this tournament, you must have won a
seat into a Tournament of Champions and you must have been the highest eligible
winning player at the TOC. We make accomodations to try to fit all
schedules for players that are involved and this game is generally played on a
Saturday without any other game being played.
Buy-in.
The Buy-in for the Tournament of Champion Championship
(TOCC) is 100.00 and there are no add-ons or re-buys. The starting chip
stack is 11,000, but the blinds and blind schedule remain the same as a normal
tournament at the BOHICA.
